Impact strategy & evaluation
HJ Impact helps mission-driven organizations build useful evidence, strengthen programs, and communicate their value with clarity and confidence.
For nonprofits, foundations, schools, and community organizations.
Why HJ Impact
It should reveal what is changing, sharpen the choices you make, and give your organization a stronger story about why its work matters.
What we do
Every engagement is right-sized to your questions, your capacity, and the people your work serves.
Clarify your theory of change, outcomes, indicators, and the questions that should guide learning.
Build credible qualitative and quantitative research that fits the realities of your organization.
Turn findings into practical insight that helps leaders and program teams make better decisions.
Translate complex evidence into clear, persuasive reports and materials for funders and stakeholders.
How we work
Strong evaluation is not something done to an organization. It is built with the people who understand the work best.
Discuss your projectWe begin with your goals, stakeholders, constraints, and the decisions the work must support.
We design a proportionate research plan and gather evidence with care and methodological discipline.
We interpret the findings in context—what changed, for whom, why, and where the questions remain.
We turn the evidence into concrete recommendations and a clear account of your organization’s impact.
The work in practice
This example shows how an engagement can bring strategy, research, learning, and communication together.
Example engagement · Education nonprofit
HJ Impact might combine outcome mapping, stakeholder interviews, survey design, and program-data review, then synthesize the findings into an accessible report for leadership and funders.
Illustrative example—replace with a real, permissioned case study when ready.

What guides us
Research should answer real questions and support real decisions.
The strongest work is shaped with leaders, staff, participants, and communities.
Clarity is not a simplification of rigor. It is what makes rigor valuable.
